I know I have been kinda quiet in the rain... but it has been VERY busy here at Real Estaging.
However... for all my Chicago-land Active Rain collogues I am VERY proud to announce a very cool event that I am co-sponsoring along with 2 other Active Rain Members. (Tripti Kasal of Real Living Infinity and Joe Zekus of YoChicago.)
The event embodies the SPIRIT of what Active Rain makes possible... in REAL TIME. AND... the cool thing about the seminar is that it is a networking event that teaches real time networking skills!
After attending a SIMILAR event, geared to the general business population, I JUMPED at the opportunity to co-sponsor this event tailored to the real estate professional. It is worth WAY more than the 20 bucks they are charging! Guaranteed!
The E-Flyer below gives you all the details.
PLEASE JOIN US... this could be Chicago-land's FIRST (informal) Active Rain gathering.
POST SCRIPT: Besure to read Yo-Joe's comment below... he is throwing in some goodies! THANKS JOE!

CRAIGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just about to send you an email telling you it's SAFE to come back now!!!!!!
Dude ! You were missed!
ooops, forgot to read you post....
Hey that sounds in keeping to what we are doing. We have 2 group events planned this month, one is on February 22nd. I must check with the team, and get back to you! BTW....guess what??? No, i'll wait and tell ya!
Craig,
Just wanted to thank you and Tripti for putting this event together and including us.
For those who might not know the location, Father & Son has plenty of adjacent free parking, and it's easy to access off the North Ave exit on the Kennedy.
YoChicago will be giving away a limited number of free Yo t-shirts (men's and women's) at the event, and we'll also do a prize drawing for a free video. The video will feature a real state agent showing us around a piece of the city of Chicago where he / she does business. We'll post about the video on YoChicago and keep it live on YouTube.
It's about damn time you got back here, we got a network to guide ya know!
Craig it's great see you back. And it sounds like things are going well. You deserve all the success you have.
Craig - sounds like a really fun event. Too bad it's not closer to the east coast!
I hope everyone has a GREAT time!!

Craig,
I think it is great that you are working on this event. Hopefully, it will be a most rewarding experience for all of the Realtors that participate.
Glad to hear you've been busy with you business,Craig. I thought maybe it was something I said. You know I would be there if it was closer. I think you should be charging more if you are co-sponsoring the event! ;)
Hey Craig
It sounds like a fun morning and it definitely is putting you in with a great group of people with like mindedness. Good Luck, let us know how it goes.
Phyllis Pafumi
Craig,
Thanks for the post. Glad to hear business is good. We have been in dialogue with a coach and your event has given me the twist I need to put on his presentation. Thanks for sharing!
I saw this was posted on 02/07 and was kicking myself for not seeing it earlier. Looks like I didn't miss it yet. I look forward to meeting fellow Active Rainers in person on the 21st! :)
I agree with what you have written. The problem is that scare tactics are threatening to derail an honest effort to make the changes necessary and most people fear change especially something as personal as health care. What people are not realzing is that the health care companies are dictating who gets care and what degree of care you can get by refusing to allow doctors the freedom to care for the patient without getting approval from these companies to pay for the care the doctors feel necessary. What is funny is that people fear the government will take over health care and turn it into socialized health care. If they really thought about it, we do not have control on the degree of health care we receive, the companies do and they do not fear that. It makes no sense except the right has generated fear once again to win their point. How will they feel in a few more years when the price to pay for health care becomes even more prohibative and they too can no longer afford to pay their premiums. We need to have honest debate on this important issue with truth and lets stop playing politics with an issue that is a matter of life and death. This is the issue that could destroy America.
