Good Words for a Friday in the Rain (1)

Throughout the course of our lives we read and hear trillions upon trillions of words.

But once in a great while, we come across words that somehow travel deep within to touch the core of our being... and illuminate what we hold as our truths.

Yesterday, I came across these simple and profound words of Mahatma Gandhi.

Be It Forward...

Thanks Craig,

If the 24,000 members of AR and the many many visitors, make a positive action to another person and so on and so forth, just imagaine the change!

Please make a positive gesture to some one today. I will.

Craig, those are powerful words.  I find that powerful words have their effect if we're ready to receive them.  How many times have we had an AHA moment reading something when we've read it times before and the AHA had not happened?  Good Friday to you friend.

Craig - What a nice post from you. A nice simple message on Good Friday.  Much less elaborate than your other posts, and just as effective.  Have a nice weekend.

What! Are you the Dali Lama or something? Where did you learn to be so eloquent with words?

Craig, what a lovely quotation.  Thanks for sharing it along with the name of the person who said it.  I'm certain that I have heard this quote before, but I'm ashamed to say I thought it was Oprah !

One of my favorite quotes is (and I apologize for not knowing the source) ...

"you cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore"

I have it printed out on my bulletin board ... this is what inspired me to TAKE THE PLUNGE into my business almost 3 years ago.  Talk about losing sight of the shore !!

Mortgage George...

You are acting like my big brother. Oh. That's right. You are my brother. Well in that case I'm telling on you. LOL.

I have to go delete 2,000 emails now. You guys are killing me :)

2000 e-mails WOW, that should keep you out of trouble for a few minutes......LOL
Posted by George Souto, Your Connecticut Mortgage Expert (George Souto NMLS #65149 FHA, CHFA, VA Mortgages) over 13 years ago

Actually...

When I went in to delete them there were 2,776. Kept me busy for 10 whole minutes. LOL.

By the way, that is only a five day total :)

Gee. I might be spending waaaay to much time on AR. Oh. Well. It keeps me out of 'real' trouble. I haven't driven or thrown anything in the lake in awhile :)

Sorry. Craig. I guess I kind of hijacked your post. Odds are...You don't mind. SVW.

TLW, the only reason why you probably have not driven anything into the lake lately is because everything around there on wheels is already in the lake......LOL

WOW. 2776 e-mails, I would have to get another mouse after that many clicks.

Posted by George Souto, Your Connecticut Mortgage Expert (George Souto NMLS #65149 FHA, CHFA, VA Mortgages) over 13 years ago

Now I promised myself I would not continue to hijack this post.

How am I supposed to do that when you keep making me laugh? :)

By the way I threw my 'old' mouse in the lake. I'm getting ready to chuck all the yard tools out there. LOL.

If you want to keep this up then go make a comment on one of your older posts so we can mouth off :)

Just go in and say 'TLW are you there?' LOL.
