Staging Web Sites

Since I have been a member of Active Rain I have be in contact with so many people "intrigued" with staging and the possibility of staging.

I am honored to "field" the questions of stagers or wanna be stagers ( by "wanna be" I mean people intrigued in the opportunity staging offers). So many have asked for my advice about staging and marketing staging services, to which I ALWAYS answer...

STAGERS are in the business of AMAZING first impressions. EVERYTHING we do has to convey a understanding and knowledge of a good first impression.

But lately I have found stagers (even here in AR links) that display their web links that either:

1.) Do NOT work... and say they are under construction....or

2.) Have one or two sets of before & after Transformations, that really are not that impressive!

FOLKS... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember you are in the first impression biz... BE IT! LIVE IT! SHOW IT!

Be POWERFUL and make an impressive statement for the sake of your own business and the industry.

Wise Mr. Schiller, I agree first impressions are very important.  In all aspects of what we do.

I don't have a website yet.... I'm working on it.  I agree I need it to be a great first impression.

Craig,

I just sent a whole bunch of people to your website from the HGTV boards.  I used it as the quintessential site for great staging.  So you should be seeing your stats way up. :-)

Sara, hey, hey, I'm impressed.  We won you over to the web.  Now you'll have to clone yourself.

All I can say is THANK YOU.

And Ms. Terrorist (old joke from what seems like eons ago) MR. SCHILLER is my Dad!

We totally believe in staging. We had a great home as far as construction----but, the presentation was lousy. Thus, it is lying dormant on the market. Wish the seller would believe in staging like we do!

The photographs on your site are gorgeous they are so vivid and professional. Are you taking the shots yourself with a digital or hiring an outsider? I am in the process of upgrading cameras.. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am a firm believer in the power of staging.  Apart from enjoying those shows on HGTV, I attended the stagedhomes.com ASP REALTOR staging  course and use the knowledge learned for every one of our listings.  It makes a HUGE difference!
